Bradley University FUSE Website
A website design project where I helped build the event website for Bradley University’s annual FUSE showcase.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The FUSE Showcase is an annual event celebrating student work in Bradley University’s Interactive Media program. For the 2025 showcase, I worked as a web designer to help create a website that would showcase participating student project and provide visitors with an engaging way to explore the work.
Working alongside various student lead teams, I helped gather and organize project information, including bios, headshots, descriptions, and game assets. I designed wireframes for the individual student showcase pages and I built and published 23 individual showcase pages in WordPress.
THE CHALLENGE
The 2025 FUSE Showcase featured 23 student projects, each with its own unique content, visuals, and team information. The challenge was to create a cohesive website that could showcase each project individually while maintaining a consistent and intuitive experience across the site.
The website also needed to organize a large amount of content in a way that made it easy for visitors to explore the different exhibits, learn about the participating students, and discover the work being showcased.
MY ROLE
As a web designer for the 2025 FUSE Showcase, I was responsible for designing and building key pages of the website. I created wireframes for the individual student showcase pages in Figma and designed layouts for the website’s exhibits. I then translated these designs into WordPress and helped estblish a consistent structure across the site.
Design Process
I began the design process by creating wireframes in Figma for the individual student pages, establishing a consistent structure for presenting each student’s information. I focused on organizing project information in a way that was easy to scan and navigate, while creating a layout that could accommodate different types of visual assets.

REFLECTION
This project gave me a valuable experience of designing and building a website for a real event with a large amount of content and multiple contributors. Working with student teams taught me how important clear communication and organization are when creating a consistent digital experience across many individual pages.
