Skyward Specialty Insurance provides tailored coverage for complex and hard to place risks. This project focused on positioning Skyward as a smart, strategic, and easy to work with partner for independent insurance agents.
THE CHALLENGE
Skyward faces a crowded specialty insurance market where competitors often make the same claims of being “expert,” “fast,” and a strong “partner.” With independent agents relying heavily on familiar carriers, Skyward needed a way to differentiate itself and communicate the value of its specialized expertise more clearly.

We repositioned Skyward around the idea “We Rule Our Niche”, emphasizing its expertise in solving complex insurance challenges. Our work focused on creating a brand experience that felt smart, strategic, collaborative, and easy to work with, positioning Skyward as a trusted partner for independent agents.

MY CONTRIBUTION
Hero Design · Campaign Development · Content Design · Stakeholder Presentation
I designed the campaign’s hero section from concept to final design and assisted in developing supporting campaign materials and customer testimonials. I also collaborated with my team to present our campaign strategy and materials to Skyward representatives, communicating our design decisions and overall brand direction.
REFLECTION
This project challenged me to think beyond individual design pieces and consider how a brand strategy could translate across an entire campaign. I learned how to balance a cohesive visual identity with unique requirements of different advertising formats while communicating design decisions to a real client.
